Busta Rhymes recently made waves on social media and it wasn’t for a new single. Instead, the Grammy-nominated artist is being celebrated for getting his weight in check.
On Oct. 23, Rhymes shared split screen before-and-after photos on Instagram and Twitter showing his dramatic body transformation. He went from having a beer belly to a six-pack and encouraged his fans that they could do the same.
“Don’t ever give up on yourself!! Life begins right now!!! My dedication is different!! I would never put out an album and not be in the best shape of my life!! I respect myself too much and i respect y’all too much!!! I’m only here to inspire,” Busta Rhymes wrote in the post’s caption.
He thanked a few people for helping him get in shape including celebrity trainer, diet and nutrition coach Victor Munoz.
“IT’S BEEN A LONG JOURNEY TO GET @bustarhymes to this point, but it’s well worth it as you can see with these results. IT’S a Team effort but with years of experience, wisdom and guidance the Transformation Happens. I provide a service that could change your life around for the better but this happens when you trust the #process,” Munoz wrote after sharing photos of the Brooklyn MC.
Friends and fans alike congratulated Rhymes on his phenomenal progress.
“I’m so proud of you King!!!!! It’s your time King !! The Deans Love you!!!” wrote super-producer and Verzuz co-creator Swizz Beatz, adding “RESPECT”accentuated by a series of exclamation points in a follow-up comment.
“Incredible transformation…inspiring,” commented a user identified as a songwriter named Nikki Grier.
Another user identified as @squadfullofshortyshooters quipped “my guy went from pregnant to godly like physique that’s what’s up that’s motivation fr.”

Jamarlin makes the case for why this is a multi-factor rebellion vs. just protests about George Floyd. He discusses the Democratic Party’s sneaky relationship with the police in cities and states under Dem control, and why Joe Biden is a cop and the Steve Jobs of mass incarceration.
Rhymes also had a lot of the ladies super thirsty after noticing more than just his new physique.
“Great transformation, fabulous abs and nice package imprint,” one woman on Instagram.
“All I’m saying is Busta is packed….pun intended,” wrote another woman on Twitter.
“I don’t want a Garden snake I need a King Cobra wit a hook in it hope it lean over, yes sirrr Bussa Bus @BustaRhymes we see you baby n I’m very inspired!” responded another woman on Twitter.
