Intermittent Fasting is Not Superior to Dieting, Study Finds


A study that followed people losing weight over the course of a year found that participants who chose to fast for several hours every day did not lose any more weight than those who ate at any time of day. Researchers concluded that eating within a narrow window of time does not facilitate weight loss when the same number of calories are consumed. However, it is possible that intermittent fasting works for some people because they allow themselves less time to consume all of their day’s calories.
