Kamala Harris Polls ‘Rigged,’ ‘Psychological Warfare’

In today’s episode of There Is No Delusion Like MAGA Delusion, it appears that Donald Trump and his MAGA mob of misinformation marauders are having a tough time dealing with the reality that the race between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris is a tight race. Every poll says it’s a tight race. Many polls have Harris enjoying a narrow lead.

On Thursday, new national polling data collected by the Decision Desk HQ and other polling firms predicted that, at present, Vice President Kamala Harris has a 56% chance of winning the presidency. Even Fox News, the network that might as well rename itself MAGA Media Inc., released a poll that shows Harris is ahead of Trump in three of the four key Sun Belt states — Arizona, Georgia and Nevada — with an overall lead of one point. (Trump’s campaign got really mad at Fox News for, well, reporting truthful things for a change.)

So, how are Trump and his supporters dealing with all of the polls that indicate his run against Harris will be far from the slam dunk they once predicted it would be? Well, obviously, they’re dealing with it the way they deal with every piece of news that doesn’t say what they want it to say: They’re claiming it’s all rigged.

“The polls are rigged too. You know they say Donald Trump is tied,” Trump said during a recent campaign rally in Michigan before going on to whine about how he spent so much money running against President Joe Biden and it’s so unfair that now he has to run against Harris.

At this point, it should be abundantly clear that if Trump bangs his knee on the corner of a table, he’ll complain that the living room was rigged against him.

It should be noted that the extended temper tantrum he threw after losing his bid for reelection in 2020 wasn’t Trump’s first Don the Delulu rodeo. He’s been complaining about elections being rigged against him since the one he won in 2016.

It’s also not his first time claiming the polls are rigged. In fact, during a Georgia rally in March, Trump told on himself when he said to his audience: “You know, the polls are all rigged. Of course, lately, they haven’t been rigged because I’m winning by so much.” Trump’s cultists, of course, cheered him on and laughed at his quip, but it isn’t likely a single one of them asked themselves, “Wait — does Trump only think things are rigged against him when he’s not winning?”

Mind you, also in March, Trump went as far as to make up his own imaginary poll that said the overwhelming majority of imaginary Americans believe in the imaginary election rigging that happened that he suffered in his imagination in 2020.

“Eighty-two percent of the country understands that it was a rigged election,” Trump said during a rally at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in North Carolina. “You can’t have a country with that. A poll came out: 82%. But they go after the people — they don’t go after the people that rig the election, they go after the people (that are) looking.”

Predictably, fact-checkers were unable to find a single poll that showed a percentage anywhere near that large of Americans who believe Trump’s “big lie,” and polling experts all agreed that Trump’s poll simply didn’t exist. In fact, even among Republicans alone, most polls have shown that more than half of them believe Biden’s election win was legitimate. Across the political spectrum, polls show around 70% of Americans believe the election was un-tampered with.

So, basically, when the polls don’t show what Trump wants to believe, he’ll not only call them “rigged” polls, but he’ll conjure up his own fake polls to back his fake news.

Anyway, Trump isn’t the only one claiming without a shred of evidence that the recent polls regarding the 2024 presidential race are rigged. Turning Point USA founder and professional mediocre white man, Charlie Kirk, took things a bit further suggesting not only that the polls are rigged, but that they represent a “propaganda campaign” aimed at launching “psychological warfare” against Trump supporters.

“Rush [Limbaugh] used to talk about it. There is a propaganda campaign done by the media networks to deflate our base. Do you agree?” Kirk asked his equally delusional co-host, Kane of Citizens Free Press, while citing the opinion of Rush Limbaugh, you know, the late, demonstrably racist radio host who used to celebrate gay people dying of AIDS on his show.

” 00%. Of course, of course. And it’s happening,” Kane responded.

“And so we must resist that, right? We must resist the propaganda campaign, the psychological warfare that’s trying to deflate us,” Kirk said.

Just like Trump and Limbaugh, Kirk and Kane are engaging in a conspiracy theory that is 100% based on speculation and zero percent substantiated with evidence. Again, every poll is showing a tight race. Fox News a network that clearly backs Trump and has no incentive to report fake polling numbers that favor Harris — is even reporting polls that show generally the same results all the other polls are showing. Kirk, Kane, Trump and the rest of the MAGA minions who just don’t live in the real world, would have us believe that all of these different, unconnected media networks and pollsters have conspired together to tell the same lie about Harris having the edge over Trump in a tight race — because the so-called party of “facts over feelings” gets really factless and feelings-reliant when the facts don’t agree with them.

They think the polls are “propaganda,” but they believe Trump’s “big lie” about election rigging, which has been thoroughly proven to be baseless and factless propaganda.

Go figure.
