That summer, he co-founded the group Jae and Breeze, who later dropped Down in the Country—a project that gained over 43,000 YouTube views and built real grassroots momentum.

Today, Breeze resides in Meridian, Mississippi, a city known for its musical roots and also home to fellow artist Jamal Roberts. As a father of two sons, Breeze does more than perform—he writes, records, sings, and produces his music, embodying the DIY spirit that Southern Soul was built on.

His solo journey took off with Soul Party, but it’s “Love Me For Real” that’s putting him in the national conversation. He’s since shared the stage with Jeter Jones, made appearances at the Jackson Music Awards, and continues to tour across Mississippi and beyond.
