Launched in 2022, the AFROTECH™ Future 50 is a prestigious list that amplifies 50 innovators, visionaries, founders, venture capitalists, technologists, and changemakers annually.

As AFROTECH™ previously mentioned, this includes Lewis Hamilton, a Formula 1 World Champion recognized as a Changemaker for advancing DEI in motorsports and education for underrepresented youth, and Rosalind “Roz” Brewer, former CEO of Walgreens Boots Alliance and former chief operating officer and group president at Starbucks, who has remained a steadfast advocate for DEI throughout her career and was listed as a Corporate Catalyst.

While they laid the blueprint, this year’s honorees for the 2025 AFROTECH™ Future 50 are carrying the torch forward.
The list features Arian Simone (CEO and founding partner, Fearless Fund) and Promise Phelon (founder and managing Partner, Growth Warrior Capital), both listed in the Dynamic Investor category.
Also listed in other categories includes Dr. D’Wayne Edwards (president, Pensole Lewis College – Future Maker), Ashlee Wisdom (founder and CEO, Health In Her Hue – Visionary Founder), Nick Fuller (vice president of AI and Automation, IBM Research – Corporate Catalyst), and Imani Ellis (co-founder and CEO, The Creative Collective NYC & CultureCon – Changemaker).
