Druski Went From Being A Broke College Student To Earning $14M As A Creator

Drew Desbordes, better known as the comedian Druski, has achieved huge online success, landing him a spot on Forbes’ 2025 Top Creators list.
Druski’s financial success has come a long way since he was a “broke” 23-year-old turning his mother’s living room into a playground for skits that he recorded with a phone, he told Forbes in 2023.
“I just was using what I had, and it worked out for me,” Druski told the outlet.
Druski’s content took off during the COVID-19 pandemic, as he was inspired by shows such as “American Idol” and “Making the Band,” The New York Times mentions. This led to “Coulda Been Records,” a serious then later satirical record label — of which he retains full ownership and self-funds — that many tuned in to on Instagram Live throughout the pandemic, notes Complex.
“I think social media during the pandemic was like big time because nobody’s going outside. Nobody was doing anything,” Druski explained to Forbes. “A lot of people were just tuned into everything that I was doing on social media, so it worked out in my favor.”
Druski’s consistency led him to catch the attention of Drake, and he even appeared in the rapper’s “Laugh Now Cry Later” music video, which he called a “life-changing“ opportunity. He has also opened for musicians such as J. Cole and Lil Baby.
Coming to terms with becoming his own brand, Druski headlined his first comedy tour, “Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda,” in 2023, a 30-city tour stop that combined his popular segments from “Coulda Been Records“ with traditional stand-up, per a press release.
Druski earned $2.5 million from his tour, presented by Happy Dad Hard Seltzer, a brand in which he holds an equity stake, he told Forbes.
It doesn’t stop there. As AFROTECH™ previously reported, Druski’s footprint has also extended to “Coulda Fest,“ a sold-out music and comedic show held at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta in 2024.
“Can’t believe all this started from an Instagram Live,“ he wrote on Instagram.
Now, he’s gearing up for his big screen debut in “The Diggers,“ a film co-produced by his own company, 4lifers Entertainment.
Helping to fund his foray as a comedian and entrepreneur, he has landed endorsement deals with Nike, Google, AT&T, PrizePicks, and Dunkin’, the latter of which led to his first Super Bowl commercial.
“The Super Bowl commercial that was my first time doing that, so that was lucrative,“ he admitted on “The Breakfast Club.”
Druski is also a team owner, securing a stake in the Fan Controlled Football (FCF) League in 2022, AFROTECH™ previously mentioned.
2025 Earnings
Druski continues to strengthen his presence year over year, so it should come as no surprise that he is now No. 9 on Forbes’ list of top-earning creators in 2025, with $14 million in earnings, the outlet reports. He joins a list of 50 creators who collectively brought in an estimated $853 million from Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube alone.
Net Worth
Druski’s net worth was projected to be $1 million in 2024, as AFROTECH™ previously mentioned.
