Detroit police search for man who threw brick at business owner’s car after being denied free drink

DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department is searching for a man who threw a brick at a business owner’s car after he was denied a free drink.
The incident occurred on Thursday (July 10) at 2 a.m. after the man entered a gas station located in the 18100 block of West 7 Mile Road.
Police said the man then left the location and returned moments later, throwing a brick through the windshield of a vehicle belonging to the business owner, then fled the scene in an older model Cadillac sedan.
Officials described the man as 25-30, approximately 5′6″ and 150 pounds.
Police said he was last seen wearing a black “White Sox” baseball cap, white t-shirt, gray and black basketball shorts, black socks, and blue and white “Air Jordan” shoes.
