Small Business Saturday comes to life at Avon Winter Avant-Garde Art & Craft Show

The 2025 Avon Winter Avant-Garde Art & Craft Show will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 29 at the Emerald Event Center, 33040 Just Imagine Drive in Avon, according to a news release.
This one-day handmade market on Small Business Saturday and during Black Friday weekend is designed to spotlight Northeast Ohio artisans and offer shoppers a meaningful, stress-free alternative to mass-produced gifts, the release said.
Attendees can browse a curated selection of local artists and crafters, showcasing everything from home décor, jewelry and fine art to holiday items, accessories, gourmet treats and more.
Admission is $3; children younger that age 12 are free.
A full concessions stand will be available on site, provided by the venue, the release said.
A portion of event proceeds will benefit The Haven Home, a local nonprofit supporting women and families in need — adding a charitable component that allows shoppers to give back while they shop, according to the release.
This annual show is a holiday shopping destination and community celebration of local talent and small business entrepreneurship, the release said.
“Black Friday weekend is usually all about big stores and long lines, but our Avon Winter Show offers something different — a place where shoppers can slow down, meet the makers behind the products, and support small businesses on one of the most important weekends of the year,” said Becki Silverstein, founder of the Avant-Garde Art & Craft Shows, in the release. “Our community loves discovering meaningful gifts you can’t find anywhere else, and we’re excited to welcome both new and returning artists to kick off the holiday season.”
Currently, the show is accepting vendors until Nov. 26.
