Ganjactivist.com launches Build Back Jamaica campaign. –

Ganjactivist.com, publishers of the Ganjactivist.com Magazine have launched a fundraising campaign for small farmers who have been devastated by hurricane Melissa in Westmoreland Jamaica. Jamaica was integral to our foundation and the least we can do is use our platform to raise awareness and resources for our friends in Negril and Western, Jamaica.
The campaign, “Build Back Again” will run through December 15th, with distribution of cash and in-kind products being distributed before Christmas. The team is working with local farmers and cannabis industry organizations to identify needs and distribute both cash and in-kind contributions industry stakeholders and friends of Jamaica.

We have already identified pressing needs for our farmers to build back what they have lost.
The situation in numbers:
- More than 130 roads blocked .
- Massive water and electricity cuts .
- Thousands of farmers without tools or shelter.
- Destruction of more than 90% of banana and plantain production .
- Loss of approximately 40% of the poultry sector, along with the destruction of fishing fleets.
- Total crop loss in key areas such as St Ann, Westmoreland and St Elizabeth .
We are asking for contributions of:
- Seeds
- Grow supplies
- Hydroponic equipment
- Cash donations
The Ganjactivist.com team will be on the ground after Dec. 15th to distribute cash donations and in-kind products to affected individuals and businesses.
