STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — New Springville’s Costco will be closed on Thanksgiving, however, on Black Friday, the big-box retailer is expected to open at 9 a.m.
Executive and Business members can start shopping Costco’s Black Friday deals at 9 a.m., while Gold Star members can enter at 10 a.m.
The store will remain open until 8:30 p.m. on Black Friday.
As committed Costco shoppers know, a membership is required to shop at the warehouse.
For $65 annually, customers gain gold status and are able to shop at the store. However, for $130 a year, they gain executive status. This elite membership rewards shoppers with up to $1,250 on eligible Costco and Costco Travel purchases. The executive membership also grants access to discounts on various Costco services.
Shoppers can find a warehouse closest to them using Costco’s store locator.
Costco currently operates 918 warehouses, including 632 in the United States and Puerto Rico. Staten Island’s Costco is located at 2975 Richmond Ave. in New Springville.
Costco Members enjoy exclusive perks, such as savings on gas, insurance, travel, prescriptions, and gift cards, with executive members earning 2% cash back on select purchases.
