The results of the Q2 survey will be revealed on July 3 at Mercure Birmingham West Hotel, West Bromwich, providing the latest insights into how businesses are navigating the rapidly evolving economic landscape.

Sarah Moorhouse, CEO of Black Country Chamber of Commerce, said: “The recent exemptions for our automotive and aerospace industries in the Black Country are very much welcomed, but there’s no doubt that US tariffs have impacted international trade.

“With taxation and inflation emerging as top concerns, it’s increasingly important that we come together to discuss these challenges and identify opportunities in this changing landscape.”

The event will also address how businesses are managing rising labour and utility costs, which have emerged as key pressure points in the latest survey.

Guest speaker at the event will be marketing expert and former banker Dr Kareem Sani, now a senior lecturer with the University of Wolverhampton and he will join a panel to discuss brand protection and reputation management – the theme of this summer’s Prosper.

The Chamber’s Quarterly Economic Survey is recognised as the most authoritative business confidence survey in the UK, with results closely monitored by both HM Treasury and the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee to inform economic policy decisions.
