CEO hands reins to new president at LS Black

Sterling Black, CEO of Minnesota-based LS Black Constructors, is passing the leadership reins to new president Mark Liska, the company said in a press release.
Liska takes on his new role immediately. Black, who led the company for 18 years, will remain “actively involved and continue to support long-term strategic initiatives,” the company said.
“It’s been one of the greatest honors of my life to help lead this company and watch it grow,” Black said in the release. “What we’ve built together — as a team — and the partnerships that we’ve established, means the world to me. I’m confident that Mark is the right person to guide LS Black forward, and I’ll be cheering him on every step of the way.”
Liska has a background in strategic planning, risk management, business development, and operations.
“This company has an incredible legacy,” Liska said. “I’m grateful for the trust being placed in me, and I look forward to working with our talented team to drive impactful results for our clients and communities.”
