Kevin Hart’s Tequila Brand Gran Coramino Has Reportedly Generated $200M In Total Retail Sales – AfroTech

Kevin Hart’s tequila brand is faring well in the liquor market.

Gran Coramino

The comedian and entrepreneur became a co-founder of tequila company Gran Coramino in 2022, according to Complex. Hart launched the brand alongside 11th-generation tequila maker, Juan Domingo Beckmann, and celebrity liquor veteran James Morrissey, who also launched liquor brands with musicians Post Malone and A$AP Rocky, Yahoo Finance reports. Gran Coramino carries Cristalino, Añejo, and Reposado tequilas.

The brand has scored several strategic wins over the years, including becoming the official luxury tequila brand of the Philadelphia Eagles in a multiyear contract, as AFROTECH™ previously reported. Gran Coramino also secured a multiyear partnership with the Atlanta Hawks in 2023, according to a press release.

Beyond those arenas, customers can find the brand across countless retailers that the Gran Coramino website lists. In three years, the brand has sold nearly 300,000 nine-liter cases, and half of those sales were attributed to 2025, Yahoo Finance noted.

Total Sales

On Yahoo Finance’s show, “Opening Bid,” Morrissey shared that Gran Coramino grew 100% in 2025 compared with 2024 on a volume basis and delivered nearly $2 million in weekly consumer-level sales in stores. The brand sold 3.6 million bottles and generated $85 million in total sales in 2025, bringing cumulative retail sales to $200 million, per Yahoo Finance.

“We’re flying in rare air,” Hart said on “Opening Bid.” “I think hard work definitely pays off. A lot of the hard work that I’m referring to, of course, went into developing the liquid … If you have something that people are responding to and that they love, they’ll keep coming back. Our growth is a testament to simply that.”

Morrissey said:

“With the industry flat or in decline, we’ve seen consumers shift to prioritize quality over quantity, and that’s where we are seeing this shift. People are willing to spend a little more to get a great quality product, but they are consuming less. They are just being more selective about it.”

Goals Looking Ahead

Morrissey shared on “Opening Bid” that there will be a more aggressive push in the market as the brand strives toward $500 million in total retail sales. This includes activating the brand in San Francisco for Super Bowl LX and meeting with trade partners in various cities.

Gran Coramino’s success is also tied to social impact. The brand established the Coramino Fund in 2022 to support diverse entrepreneurs and small businesses from communities in Mexico and the U.S., according to a press release. For every bottle of tequila sold, Gran Coramino donates $1 to the fund, per the release.

As AFROTECH™ previously reported, since its launch, the Coramino Fund has supported more than 150 under-resourced entrepreneurs through $10,000 grants that prepare their businesses to compete with larger companies.

Looking further ahead, Hart also shared on “Opening Bid” that he wants Gran Coramino to reach global status.
