SZA, Kendrick Lamar Make History With The Highest-Grossing Co-Headlining Tour, Earning $256.4M

Kendrick Lamar and SZA have made history in the music industry.

Grand National Tour

The Grammy-award winning artists are frequent collaborators and performed together at the 2025 Super Bowl LIX performance in New Orleans. The pair later embarked on the “Grand National Tour,” which kicked into gear on April 19 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, according to USA Today. The tour, presented by Live Nation, pgLang (Lamar’s agency), and Top Dawg Entertainment, made its way to 19 stadiums in cities such as Los Angeles, Houston, Las Vegas, and Atlanta, mentions Seattle’s Lumen Field. Concluding the North American leg on June 18, the tour will continue throughout the U.K., Europe, and Australia.

This has marked the first stadium tour for both artists.

“There’s so many firsts happening back to back,” SZA said on the “Sherri” show. “I can’t express what it’s like to go through life for the first time but in front of everybody. My last arena tour is my first arena tour that I’ve ever done OK, and now this is my first stadium tour I’ve ever done right after that.”

Set List

SZA and Kendrick Lamar have come out the gate swinging for their historic debut. According to USA Today, their setlist features more than 50 songs. This includes Lamar’s hits like “TV Off,” “Poetic Justice,” and “They Not Like Us”; SZA’s fan favorites such as “Broken Clocks,” “Snooze,” and “The Weekend”; as well as their collaborations “30 for 30” and “All the Stars,” — all featured in a performance that runs over three hours.

Making History

What’s more, the outpouring of support from fans has been evident. The Grand National Tour has drawn in 1.1 million in ticket sales and has already generated $256.4 million from 23 shows, mentions Billboard. It has now become the highest-grossing co-headline tour ever, outpacing power couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who earned $253.5 million from 2.2 million tickets sold during their “On the Run II Tour” back in 2018.
