The Trump Administration Is Really Good At This One Thing

I am often very critical of the Trump administration mostly because it’s a dumpster fire of sycophants, marauders and liars.

But it’s a new year and I’m turning over a new leaf. If I could say one positive thing about the Trump administration, it would be that they are really good at shifting the blame. According to them, Russia’s attempts to bully Ukraine is the fault of the Ukrainian president, the plane crash is the fault of diversity and inclusion, and inflation…well, that’s all former president Biden’s fault.

According to the Hill, Trump claims that all of the problems during his administration, such as the rise of goods and services, have nothing to do with his often threatened but yet to be enacted tariffs or his dismantling of the working class. Instead, the inability of families to feed themselves is the dastardly work of the Biden administration.

“Inflation is back. No, think of it: Inflation’s back,” the president told Fox News’ Sean Hannity during an interview, the Hill reports. Trump was seated next to the shadow president Elon Musk.

What, why was Musk there?

Well, someone has to pull the president’s strings or else he can’t talk

Trump continued: “And they said, ‘Oh, Trump,’ and I had nothing to do with that. These people have run the country. They spent money like nobody has ever spent. … They were given $9 trillion to throw out the window — 9 trillion,” he added.

Trump claimed that Biden and his staff spent all the money on the Green New Deal, which was signed as a part of the Inflation Reduction Act in 2022, to look at three things the Trump administration hates: climate change, racial injustices, and economic equality.

Trump, of course, began calling it the “Green New Scam,” because that’s another thing the Trump administration is good at: making up names.

“The greatest scam in the history of the country,” Trump said as his plus one looked on. “One of them. We have a lot of them, I guess. But one of them. Dollar-wise, probably.”

If you have trouble following Trump’s word salad, don’t worry; I can break it down. If something goes right, whether it is the direct result of Trump’s policy or not, he will take credit and anything else is Biden’s fault.

Also, it’s important to understand that everything Trumpian follows this tenet: “I don’t have to listen to experts, I’m a white man!” Seriously, experts warned Trump long before he took office that his plans to lower rich people’s taxes while not understanding tariffs and that would mean the bottom line price for consumers could cause inflation to rise.

But why would Trump listen to experts?
