As we all know, the Met Gala falls on the same day, every year. The first Monday of May. However, what does change is the guest list, co-chairs helming the fashion extravaganza and the stylish theme. Nevertheless, as of now, we at least have intel on two of those aspects. Therefore, who are the co-chairs and what is the creative design theme that attendees will need to follow?
Vogue Magazine via Vogue.com reveals,
“This year, the event—often dubbed “the Oscars of fashion”—will celebrate The Costume Institute’s spring exhibition, titled “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” As usual, the red carpet affair, to be held on the famed steps of New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, will be a can’t-miss style spectacle—especially given this year’s star-studded host committee: Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, and Vogue’s Anna Wintour will serve as this year’s official co-chairs, while honorary chairs for the evening are Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Chew.”
