SAGINAW TOWNSHIP, MI — Fashion Square Mall will host a business idea-pitch event featuring five Black-owned businesses this week.
The “Bet on Blk Pitch Event” is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, at the Saginaw Township-based mall.
Organized by Central Michigan University Research Corporation, planners said the event will highlight businesses in the “early stages” of development.
The gathering will result in competitors winning over $10,000 in funding, organizers said.
The businesses set to compete include Beauty in Me, iMix Mobile, Ryan Studio & Co., Sparkle Tees, and Sweet Wednesday by T&E.
The event will include music and giveaways for attendees, organizers said.
