Bold Market spotlights Black-owned businesses at Orion Amphitheater

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Black-owned businesses in Huntsville were in the spotlight on Saturday at the Orion Amphitheater.
The Oakwood University drumline gave the Bold Market a high-energy opening.
This business expo is designed to give black business owners in North Alabama a chance to connect, network, and find new customers.
“They are seeing more customers coming to them, even after the event. This is like an introduction for them, for people to discover these businesses, that they exist, and they have been seeing a growth in their sales, and they’re getting customers that are now recurring customers,” Bold Huntsville Executive Director Kanique Mighty-Nugent said.
“Even from last year, like someone said, ‘Ooh, is so-and-so going to be here this year?’ And I’m like, yes, they will be.”
Jazz McKenzie from The Voice also joined in on the fun with a live performance!
