Big Sky women’s tournament bracket: Full TV schedule, scores, results for 2024 basketball championships
The 2024 Big Sky women’s basketball conference tournament begins Saturday when the first two games between the four lowest seeds commence.
Weber State will take on Portland State, and Idaho State will face Sacramento State for the first two games of the tournament. The top two seeds — Eastern Washington and Northern Arizona — will await the winners of those two games to begin their journey in the tournament.
Last year, Sacramento State won their first conference championship in the Big Sky. Montana owns the conference’s most championships with 21 heading into this one.
No team has repeated as Big Sky conference champions since Montana in 2008 and 2009.
Eastern Washington, the No.1 seed in the tournament, hasn’t won a Big Sky since 1987. They finished the season 26-5 overall with a conference-leading 16-2 record, losing only to Montana State and Northern Arizona.
Northern Arizona, the No. 2 seed, hasn’t won a conference championship since 2006. They finished one game behind Eastern Washington with a 15-3 conference record.
