Blues in Beverly Hills: King George Serenades GloRilla & Brandon Ingram
Southern Soul made its way to Beverly Hills last night as Grammy-nominated rapper GloRilla reportedly called on none other than King George to provide the soundtrack for a private evening with NBA star Brandon Ingram.
Sometimes the stars really do align.
Love, basketball, hip-hop and Southern Soul all came together in Beverly Hills last night as King George serenaded Grammy-nominated rapper GloRilla and NBA star Brandon Ingram during a private event.
GloRilla and Ingram have been romantically linked since 2025, and while the couple has kept much of their relationship private, this was one of those moments where love and music did the talking.
And when it came time to set the mood, GloRilla wanted King George.
For those familiar with Southern Soul, that choice shouldn’t come as a surprise. The South Carolina native has become one of the genre’s biggest independent success stories, building an impressive career behind his breakout anthem “Keep On Rollin’” and fan favorites including “Too Long,” “Friday Night” and “Leave & Party.” all produced by the Creative musical Genius Kang803. GloRilla has built an impressive story of her own. The Memphis native exploded onto the national hip-hop scene with “F.N.F. Brandon Ingram brings some star power of his own. The former No. 2 overall NBA Draft pick has developed into one of the league’s premier scorers, earning an NBA All-Star selection and Most Improved Player honors during his career.
