Founder Aaron Jordan Launched An AI-Powered Events Platform To Help Organizers Unlock More Revenue – AfroTech

Aaron Jordan wants to position vendors as headliners.

The Louisville, KY native — who also splits his time between New York and Miami — is using technology to enhance the vendor experience at events. His approach is informed by both direct conversations with vendors and his own experience as the founder of the Louisville Juneteenth Festival, which launched in the wake of COVID-19 and was sunset in 2025.

“I learned how to do corporate sponsorships and had a fundraiser, and we [reached] 10,000 attendees. It became the official Juneteenth celebration for the state of Kentucky,” Jordan told AFROTECH™. “And we received Governor acclamations and Kentucky state senate proclamations as the official celebration for Juneteenth. But hosting the festival, I realized I was losing out on revenue, and also I was burnt out all the time after the festival.”

“We had over a hundred vendors. We’re supporting small businesses, and they’re making tons of money each year, and we had no insight [into] any of that economic development, nor could we participate in it,” he added.

Pebble

That experience laid the groundwork for Pebble, an AI-powered event platform that centralizes ticketing, payments, accounting, and real-time analytics into a single dashboard, making it easier for organizers to plan, manage, and oversee marketplace sellers and vendors. The platform also streamlines the process for organizers to discover high-performing vendors from past events, distribute documents and policies, and manage day-of operations, including booth assignments and logistics.

Pebble includes a marketplace that helps organizers send direct invitations and allows vendors to apply via QR code or shared link.

“Pebble is a tool that gives you that freedom, and it’s owning the infrastructure of your business,” Jordan explained.

The platform’s basic plan is free for users, according to information shared with AFROTECH™. The pro tier is priced at $249, with its AI described as more hands-on, analyzing vendor applications, suggesting vendors based on achieving maximum revenue and experience, detecting marketplace gaps, and making automated major decisions to optimize performance in real time. A premium tier is still in development and is expected to function as an AI agent capable of managing multiple aspects of event operations. Pebble takes a 15% fee on vendor registration at every tier.

“This is AI for event organizers built by someone who’s actually done it,” Jordan explained.

Jordan believes Pebble will be especially beneficial to Black creatives, who he says are producing some of the most impactful community-based events but are often doing so within “chaotic, outdated systems,” and without access to infrastructure that creates revenue opportunities for their communities.

“I really don’t think that Black creators need more of anything. We just need simplicity. A lot of Black creators have tons of ideas, and being able to be in charge of our operating capital and the resources that we have because we’re implementing systems is kind of what I think we’re lacking … We need to be leveraging tools that allow us to have simplicity in our workflows and not get left behind when it comes to technology. Really be able to be a part of the infrastructure creation. Pebble removes barriers that really set folks up to not be able to participate in the social economy,” Jordan mentioned.

Looking ahead, Jordan says a point-of-sale system will be introduced, allowing vendors to process payments while giving organizers visibility into sales and the ability to share in that revenue. Additional incoming features will include vendor recommendations and pricing insights.

Opening Pre-Seed Round

Jordan is currently raising a $1 million pre-seed round. It is seeking investment from venture capitalists, angel investors, family offices, athletes, entertainers, and individuals or companies working in the event space. The funding will support product development, strengthen Pebble’s AI capabilities, redesign its platform, and scale its user base as it strives to reach its first 1,000 members.
