SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce hosted its signature event Saturday.
The Black Business Expo showcased and celebrated Black and minority owned businesses.
With over 50 vendors from many unique companies, the free event provided an opportunity for entrepreneurs to collaborate and network.
“Often times a lot of our business do not get the recognition or be able to be seen. Because of access to capital, they’re on smaller locations on streets that people don’t normally travel. Events like this put a lot of our businesses in front of people and to have an event like this today where we expect to have over two thousand people here today – we’re really excited for the businesses to get exposure,” said President of Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce, Moncello Stewart.
