Halle immediately shared the news with her lovely fans tonight. In a brief but heartfelt statement she acknowledges the award and all the hard work that brought her to this point. She states,
“Omg you guys. what a beautiful night. I’m so grateful that I was honored with the Glamour Woman of the Year Gen Z Game-Changer award.
This is such a special honor to me and feels oh so amazing to be recognized for the work that I have put in all the years of my career. Being a young woman in the spotlight is definitely not for the weak. [However] because of God, my loved ones and mentors I am able to face the world everyday with my head held high.
I’m so grateful for all of the beautiful souls that continue to lift me up and guide me as I continue this blessing of a journey which is my life. Thank you God!!!”
Aww she’s so sweet! But, Halle got even more adorable and tugs on the heart strings as she was asked about how she felt being in attendance for the Glamour UK event and who is her “woman of the year.” She says,
“Oh wow, I’m excited to be here. I’m so inspired by all of these women in the room tonight. Who is my Woman of the Year?
It doesn’t have to be someone in this room. I would have to say my sister. She’s always my Woman of the Year. Honestly, she inspires me so much. And yeah, I would say her!”
