Meet Ryan Gibson: A weirdo from Virgina who thinks its okay to call Black People apes while dating a Black girl

The Black ClapBack

Addressing Anti-Black Comments and the Backlash Against Black People Who Respond

While scrolling through Facebook, I came across a comment from a man named Ryan Gibson referring to Black people as “apes.” After viewing his profile, I noticed photos of what appeared to be a Black woman and a Black child on his page. The contradiction was striking and raised questions about why some individuals feel comfortable making racist remarks about Black people while maintaining personal relationships or connections with members of the very community they are disparaging.

Some folks are more offended by Black people clapping back at racism than they are by the racism itself.

Think about that.

A racist can publicly insult millions of Black people, but the moment Black people respond, suddenly we’re told to be the bigger person. No. Accountability works both ways.

If you publicly spread racist stereotypes, expect public criticism. That’s not persecution. That’s consequences.

If you look closely, he looks like the APE he’s accusing Black people of being.
