QALO
The former NFL player and singer, respectively, bring their experience in sports, entertainment, and consumer brands to QALO, a wearable health tech company.
The married couple have hopped on board as co-owners and investors, according to a press release.
AFROTECH™ also previously reported that the couple’s portfolio includes 3BRAND, a children’s apparel brand that generated more than $170 million in two years across 2024 and 2025.
“Russell and Ciara know what it takes to perform at the highest level, build businesses and raise a family,” QALO CEO Jake Curreri said in a press release.
Ciara also commented in a press statement:
“As a busy mom, with a career that demands so much physically and mentally, taking care of my health is important to me. I know how easy it is to put your own health and wellness on the back burner when life gets busy, which is why I love that QALO fits seamlessly into everyday life and helps you better understand what your body needs.”
QALO has reached more than 2.2 million customers and develops health products for people on the go, according to the release. The company is expanding its footprint in the health technology sector with its SR-2 Smart Ring. Its second health tracker features a “slimmer profile, same durability” and requires no subscription. Users can track sleep, recovery, stress, and activity in a single health profile.
The Wilsons’ contributions will support QALO’s progress in product innovation. They will also help with increasing awareness and “access to actionable health insights.”
“I’m excited to help shape the future of QALO as a co-owner and investor to empower people to take a more proactive and accessible approach to their health,” said Russell in a news release.
